My father was treated with absolute respect and given quality individual attention. Not only were his physical needs well taken care of, his mental and emotional needs were also met. For example, the caregivers would sing his favorite songs with him, which, as his cognition declined, was one of the only ways to get through to him. “I am a licensed healthcare professional and social worker for the past 40+ years. I currently have worked for a reputable guardianship company close to eight years now. During this time I have formulated many positive meaningful relationships with healthcare providers in various communities in the Pacific Northwest. Many of the residential homes have their own special mix of providers that provide compassion, love and dedication to the residents, but not many can hold a candle to the mental health specialist managers at North Ridge House. The managers/licensed nursing leaders at North Ridge House Adult Family Homes (AFH) consistently provide optimal quality care and definitely not without their compassion for the residents. The North Ridge House teams’ many years of education and expertise align with their level of professionalism for the healthcare and well-being of each and every one of their residents. The management and care team at both North Ridge House locations are exemplary. This staff has mastered the ability to cohesively work with families and/or responsible parties. North Ridge House provides to their residents reputable physicians and mental health providers specializing in mental health, discomfort and diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, Lewy Body Dementia, strokes and other diseases. I have placed two residents at the North Ridge House with severe mental health diagnosis. No one could offer the appropriate care and support and they were recommended to go to Western State, but I reached out to North Ridge House and that all changed with an immediate trip to the hospital by the management to assess my client. After weeks of rehabilitation my clients began to improve and to date are stable, comfortable and happy in their safe caring environment. I can attest that each and every one of my residents have been provided stellar care for many years. When I have a client that requires the North Ridge House level of expertise, I always contact them first to see if they have an opening. On my regular visits to each North Ridge House the managers are always available and receptive to taking time out for an impromptu discussion as it relates to my clients. I am extremely pleased with the care my clients are receiving and will continue to rely on their expertise to support our Seniors and vulnerable adults.”

“My husband is a resident of North Ridge House since January 2021.  The staff have the expertise and patience to provide an excellent environment for him.  North Ridge House management worked with him (and me) when he was going through a very aggressive stage of his dementia.  During my visits I always find my husband well-groomed and appropriately dressed.  The staff are welcoming, friendly, and respectful.  I give North Ridge House top ratings for the home cleanliness and pleasant/calm environment and quality of care.”

“I moved my mother into North Ridge House in Shoreline, WA from her former residence of 20 years, in 2022. I knew that moving from a larger facility to a smaller one would be an adjustment for her. The management and staff at NRH have welcomed and loved her from day one, and I would highly recommend this Senior Care home to any family looking for a home for their loved ones.”
